“…this is the only product I have ever used that I have been extremely impressed with.”

June 16th, 2006

Dear folks at EquiPride,

I am writing first of all to thank you for your wonderful product. It was recommended by an internet list friend. I went to your site and knew I had to try it on my pony that has a cleft palate. Two weeks later I saw a bucket at the check-out counter of my local feed store, Seminole Feeds in Belleview, FL.

I am now finishing up my second bucket and just cannot express how amazed and very pleased I am with your product. I run a small self funded rescue, with 6 rescued horses with various conditions, two navicular rehabs, one EPM’er, one insulin resistant,
one cleft palate and one just plain mean appy who
has uveitis.

The results on the cleft palate pony were incredible. She also cribs and we cannot use a Miracle collar due to her esophagus problems. She has always stayed very thin, in spite of large intakes of grain. I’ve used corn oil, Calf Manna, Weight-On and several expensive supplements without success. She’s been on EquiPride for about 6 weeks now and the before & after pictures say it all. They are hanging at the counter beside your EquiPride sign.

I am telling everyone, till they’re sick of hearing it, how great EquiPride is. I am on two internet lists both dealing with horses, and the internet is a powerful tool for getting the word out.

After seeing what EquiPride did for the pony, I decided to try it on the two lame horses. The one we’ve had for 5 years is now running, bucking and doing great QH moves. He was nearly sound when we started the EquiPride. The other lame horse is the one we just took in. He is freshly out of shoes, still very touchy. We rehab using no shoes and a natural trim method and it is normal that the horse has some pain as the circulation returns to the feet. But the new hoof wall is coming in thicker and healthier on both these horses.

So now I have 3 out of the 6 horses on EquiPride. Then I notice that these 3 horses are really shiny & frisky and my other horses looked “drab” in comparison. So now everyone is on EquiPride.

By the way, I do not advertise myself as a rescue as I do not rehab horses to be adopted. All these six are to live their lives out here with me. I also rescue cats and several dogs. My place is what I consider to be a permanent retirement place for a few lucky animals, though most normal people think it’s a zoo!

Again, thanks for your fine product.

In a later letter Deborah went on to say,

“The pony is out of two full sized registered Paints, her growth was stunted. She was pulled from her mother at 2 days old, as she was strangling while trying to nurse. She was raised in a stall with a goat, and didn't even know how to eat grass when I got her. I researched her condition, and learned that these horses rarely live beyond two years, she is eight. They usually die from complications of pneumonia as food particles get into their lungs. There is a surgery available, but it was over five thousand dollars years ago and was not recommended as the rate of serious complications is 80% and the chance of success less than 25%. So all I can do for her is love her and take the best care of her that I can. She is a miracle and I am proud to be the one to own her. Most people see her, and tell me I should put her down because of the nasal discharge. It is a rather gross sight, but I wouldn't put a child down because of a chronic runny nose. She has value to me, and I have used her as a companion for lots of rehabbing horses.

Anyway thanks again, this is the only product I have ever used that I have been extremely impressed with, and I want everyone with rescues to know how well it works and how cost effective it is. I used to think I couldn't afford it, and it is tough sometimes. But now I feel that I can't afford NOT to buy it, as my feed/hay costs are down and my horses have never looked and felt this good.

I start conversations about EquiPride at the checkout counter every time and people listen. The manager thanked me for my efforts yesterday, but I know I hold up the line sometimes, oh well. I just want people to know for the horses' well being that there is a product that works and is affordable. If I can afford it, anyone can. lol

PS: I am also sending a couple of pix of my 20+ year old rescued navicular Quarter Horse, he is awesome and a real handful to ride at times. This horse could not even walk without Bute. He’s now almost completely sound and barefoot! I was outside looking at my horses, and the last two that I put on EquiPride now have the shine and gleam the others have.
