Deiter and Lacy
Lacy Merritt and “BARLNK DOUBLE TUFF” (a.k.a. “Deiter”)

In her first try, Lacy won two World Championship titles at the 2007 World Championship Paint Horse Show (APHA) in Fort Worth, TX with "Deiter".

For the 2009 season, Lacy is training and competing with her new horse, "Sheiks Winning Colors" aka, "Jethro".

Skipper's hooves are now solid and strong in 2 months on EquiPride!

Lacy Merritt of the Double M Ranch in Kilgore, TX was worried about her horse Skipper’s severely cracked / split hooves. Nothing she did or gave him helped, even two years or more on the leading hoof treatment failed to make a difference and she was at wits end about what to do.

BUT! In May of 2005 she came across EquiPride through the influence of a friend. Within two months, Skipper’s hooves have grown out solid and strong! In addition, his haircoat (which had always been a bit rough) has slicked out and the mane & tail have grown out thick and long.

Another thing she noticed is that EquiPride has helped Skipper overcome much of his spooking tendencies. Since then she has put all the horses on EquiPride and there is a calmness to the entire herd. Everyone is feeling good, haircoats are bright and dappled, manes and tales are growing like Skipper’s and hoof growth has been remarkable!

Bugar the donkey was a bit of a wreck and had a very rough haircoat that would not shed. Since getting on EquiPride he has slicked off. His haircoat looks like it is groomed all the time and he has lost his big grass belly. He now looks great and loves to sneak into their older mare Zippo’s stall to get EquiPride and senior equine feed from the trough. Lacy says Bugar is the coolest animal on the ranch!

In February of 2006 Lacy purchased “BARLNK DOUBLE TUFF” (a.k.a. “Deiter”), a 15 year old gelding out of “Barlink Strawberry” by “Barlink Macho Man”, and is preparing him for showing at Pinto and Paint horse events.

Of course Deiter is on EquiPride. Lacy says, “We had him on vitamin E and GL concentrate for his joints because that is what the previous owner used. But "Deiter", hates that stuff and it was going to waste. He has no problem eating EquiPride and it will be great for his joints since he is an older boy. It also makes his coat shine and keeps those hooves healthy. The weather has been horrible lately and bad for the horses feet, so
EquiPride is a tremendous help on that.”

In her first try, Lacy won two World Championship titles at the 2007 World Championship Paint Horse Show (APHA) in Fort Worth, TX with "Deiter". One in Novice Amateur Showmanship and one in Novice Amateur Trail. (Congratulations Lacy!)

For the 2009 season, Lacy is training and competing with her new horse, "Sheiks Winning Colors" aka, "Jethro". Lacy also makes sure that Jethro gets his EquiPride and is pleased with his performance in the show ring.

The Double M Ranch is a family run, premium quality Black Angus operation. The cattle are born and raised on the spread for high-end consumers. In addition to EquiPride, they use SweetPro’s cattle feed supplements. Please contact Mike Merritt at 903-236-8805 for more details on their program.
